These field shots are of actual sock mokeys, sock eles and flying sock eles in the wild (at an art show). The flying eles are hanging out with fellow artist Marion Pollman's lovely ceramics platters and plates.

Help from my friends

Every year is a learning lesson and we all know what happens when we assume. It is easy to get down on yourself and be sad. So I look to my fuzzy creatures, give them a squeeze and move on to the next new adventure.

Sock Monkeys in Boise

 Long ago I used to make monkeys. I stopped and then they got very popular, go figure. I have been reluctant to  make too many more but every so often I have an urge. Then they need clothes and hats. These three were snapped up and live in Boise, ID. They were so fun to make that I might have to make a whole host more.
